aw crap, i just dug my bald spots up, put down lawn soil, then put the seeds, but i mixed the soil and seeds. is that alright? will grass still grow? or is the seed suppose to be on the top?

I’ve noticed that there are NO bald spots in my back yard. It’s surrounded by a 6′ wood privacy fence and I always keep the door shut. My front yard’s got several of these huge bald spots. The problem, alas, is clearly obvious. I need to spend even more money and purchase some lime, mulch, and grass seed…but first i’m going dog hunting in my neighborhood.

Wow that looks like a lot of work, my knees are hurting just viewing this video. Where are the after shots… did it work? The dead grass you removed is an excellent mulch it should be recycled. BTW it’s the ammonium from the urine that’s the problem the acidity.
